Bloggers Buff 2008 bincang isu blog 22 November ini

KUALA LUMPUR: Bloggers Buff 2008, sebuah persidangan dan perangkaian bagi penulis-penulis blog akan diadakan pada 22 November ini di Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC), di sini.

Pengerusi penganjur, P. Kamalanathan berkata, persidangan yang akan bermula jam 9 pagi hingga 7 petang itu melibatkan dua sesi iaitu sesi pertama bertemakan "Blogging Realities" yang akan memfokuskan kepada isu-isu semasa yang berkaitan dengan penulisan blog termasuk etika, undang-undang, menjana pendapatan dan teknologi.

"Sementara itu, bagi sesi kedua pula adalah sesi perangkaian dengan tajuk "So you want to blog?" yang menyasarkan golongan muda dan penulis-penulis blog baru," katanya.

Beliau berkata, kedua-dua sesi tersebut akan mengundang panel-panel yang berpengalaman untuk berkongsi buah fikiran dan pengalaman mereka.

Katanya, antara panel yang akan hadir termasuk Peguam Negara, Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail; Pengerusi Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia, Datuk Dr Halim Shafie dan penulis blog, Ahirudin Attan.

"Selain itu, bekas Perdana Menteri, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad turut dijemput menyampaikan ucaptama pada persidangan itu," katanya. Kamalanathan berkata, persidangan ini adalah batu loncatan untuk penulis-penulis blog di Malaysia daripada pelbagai genre untuk berkumpul dan berkongsi pandangan mereka.

"Ini adalah satu hari di mana mereka membuka fikiran terhadap pelbagai aspek dalam penulisan blog dan memberi komen tentang isu yang memberi kesan kepada penulis-penulis blog di negara ini," katanya.

Kamalanathan berkata, setiap sesi bagi Bloggers Buff 2008 hanya terhad kepada 100 orang yang paling awal mendaftar.

"Penulis-penulis blog boleh memilih sama ada mahu menghadiri kedua-dua sesi dengan bayaran RM60 atau memilih antara dua sesi tersebut iaitu sesi pertama dengan bayaran RM50 atau sesi kedua dengan bayaran RM20," katanya.

Beliau berkata, persidangan ini ditaja oleh Go Mobile dan dianjurkan oleh MI Fest Management.

Selain itu katanya, ia turut disokong oleh Empower Lives, All Blogs, Malaysian Indian Bloggers (MIB) dan Putera MIC, manakala Trexx FM sebagai stesen radio rasmi.

Add your blog into the top search directory to gain more traffic!

For long term use, you can also add your blog into search directories to gain more traffic. They are not as useful as search engines but they are going to help in a way or two. They worked differently as search engines as search engines you normally type in a keyword then they will start to search but directory is something like a catergory of different interest and you can get your targeted audience when users are searching this system.

co.cc is a free domain. It's not only URL forwarding but we can setup DNS Records, A, MX, and CNAME records. We can change our blog's name to become "name.co.cc". It's more simple than we use domain "name.blogspot.com". To change our default blogspot name to co.cc domain name there are some steps to do. Here is the tutorial to setup domain co.cc

1. Open your browser to co.cc
2. Then regiter a domain that you want to use.
3. If it's no available you have to find another domain name. But if it's available then you can register it.
4. The you have to setup your domain. Got to "setup-->Manage domain"
5. Choose "Zone Records"
6. In the coloumn "Host" fill it with your domain name (www.yourdomainname.co.cc")
7. Choose "CNAME" for "Type"
8. In the "Value" box fill it with "ghs.google.com"
9. Then click "Setup" Button.



The next step is make some setup in blogspot.
1. Login to Bloggr/blogspot then choose "Setting-->Publishing"
2. Then choose "Switch to: • Custom Domain
3. Then click on "Already own a domain? Switch to advanced settings"
4. Fill it with your new domain in the "Your Domain" coloumn.



5. To Finish click "Save Setting" Button.
It will take 1-48 hours for your new domain to work. So be patient....

Bagaimana mengubah Blogger Icon

If you open a web/blog you will see an icon on addressbar. If you make blog in blogger your default icon will be like this:
But you can change the icon (favicon) with your own picture. it's very simple to do that. The first thing you have to do is prepare an image with low dimension, it's about 22x22 pixel to 32x32 pixel, actualy bigger is no problem but it will reduce speed to open your web/blog. And they can be formatted as gif, jpg, bmp, ico, png. Then you store your image to webhosting. But if don't know how to make it or don't want to occupied you can use the icon listed below.

Ok lets begin the trick.

1. Login to blogger, chose "Layouts --> Edit HTML
2. Put the code below into your tag or below code.
3. The bold text is an address for your icon, you can change it with your own or just copy the below listed address icon.
4. Save your editing.
